This license plate in my parking garage naming this Lone Star delicacy  is making me hanker for some carne asada (look it up, gringo) with all the trimmings. What’s for lunch in your world today? Bonus points to both the most IMPRESSIVE and DEPRESSING dishes.

No lunch plans at the moment, but I really want stuffed carne asada now.  Local place stuffs it with bacon, mushrooms, and cheese.  Heart attack on a plate, but damn tasty.  Also good leftover when it turns into congealed meat and cheese log.

Left overs of yesterday’s left over pizza from Twofer Tuesdays at Brixx pizza. Lemme break that down for you, on tuesday the wife and I get four pizzas from Brixx. We eat two for dinner then each take a pizza to work for lunch Wednesday and Thursday.

One of my favorite dishes that my wife makes is carne guisada. I was planning to have leftover enchilada casserole for lunch, but I left it in the fridge. I’m not sure what I’m going to do for lunch today. Perhaps a good Louisiana Po’ Boy.

Does any other state have as many tex-mex related license plates as Texas? The answer is “no”, because Texas is tops in Tex-Mex.  Caucasian Connecticut couldn’t pull this off.  Their salsa probably comes from New York City.
